We initially started completing electrical equipment testing (aka PAT) as part of our computer service and repair packages.
This expanded to offering electrical equipment testing on all portable electronics devices alon as a standalone service to individuals and organisations.
We also offer Microwave Radiation Emissions Tests which measures the levels of radiation your microwave to ensure it is within a safe tolerance.

The principal purpose of electrical equipment testing is to ensure that electrical appliances are safe to use, thus minimising if not entirely preventing accidents and injuries.
Exposed wirings and loose connections can cause severe harm, and in rare cases, lead to death. Unchecked electrical issues are also a fire risk, which endangers not only the individual’s using devices but everyone in that location.
PAT is not a legal obligation in itself; however, employers do by law are responsible for the safety and well-being of their employees in the workplace and accountable for any customer or visitor who might be on the site. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 requires all companies to inspect their electrical appliances and equipment regularly to ensure that they are safe to use. Failure to comply with the legislation can lead to severe penalties.
PAT is one of the most efficient and trusted methods of checking the safety of electrical appliances and equipment in the workplace and other environments. As a result, PAT has become the standard means of complying with the legal requirements in the UK.
Finally, many insurance firms require businesses to complete regular PAT inspections. Conducting PAT to maintain high levels of safety in the workplace will make the insurance company view the business more favourably.
Each test takes around 3-5 minutes to complete and upon completion all items will be marked with a PASS or FAIL sticker and we will produce a report of each item tested.

According to a survey done by professional service associates, 56% of microwave ovens used for more than 2 years leak levels of radiation at least 10% higher than the safety standard of 5mW/cm2.
Our Microwave Radiation Emissions Testing test the radiation emission from the microwave to confirm it is performing within safe tolerances.
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety (ICES) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), have set a product emission limit of 50 watts per square metre (50W/m2 or 5mW/cm2) at any point 5 cm away from the external surfaces of the oven.
Microwave radiation is odourless and invisible. Its leakage can be caused by slamming the oven door, leaving food particles in the hinges or seals, and moving the oven around, or just general usage.
By performing a Microwave Radiation Emissions Test we measure the levels of radiation your microwave emits to determine whether the emissions are within a safe tolerance.
